Aileen Guzmán Coste
Ms. Guzmán received her Bachelor of Law, from PUCMM University in Santo Domingo, and is admitted to the Bar Association of the Dominican Republic.
Ms. Guzmán obtained a Master of Laws of Economic Regulation and Business Economics at the PUCMM University. She also obtained a Master in Administrative Law at the Salamanca University and FUNGLODE.
She has vast experience in the finance and regulatory area and has worked as an attorney for several banking institutions, such as the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic. Ms. Guzmán has also worked as in-house counsel and as an attorney at the General Agency of Internal Taxes (DGII).
Ms. Guzmán works as an administrative law teacher in several postgraduate courses and in Diploma Courses of Administrative and Banking Law.
Relevant experience:
- Conducting due diligence audits for companies and financial entities to adequate their processes to the current legislation.
- Elaboration of compliance reports for companies.
- Incorporation and administration of trusts for different purposes.
- Working on decisions and writings within the framework of reconsideration appeals before the General Agency of Internal Taxes (DGII).
